Bond and Georgette Harman, owners of Jett Enterprises, were both acting golf course superintendents up until 2006. They met each other in 1981 when Bond was the golf course superintendent at Incline Village Lake Tahoe. Bond had hired Georgette as a member on his maintenance crew. As time went on they started dating and then married. Through the years they continued working together on many courses throughout the western states. In 1984 they moved from Lake Tahoe, Nevada, to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to help in the construction of Teton Pines Country Club and then remain as the superintendent and assistant superintendent. They maintained Teton Pines until 1988 and then transferred to jobs in Las Vegas. Bond was the superintendent at The Legacy in Henderson, Nevada, and Georgette was the superintendent on the Palm course at Angel Park. When The TPC at Summerlin was under construction (right next door to Angel Park) Georgette decided it would be great experience to go to work on another construction course and work under the supervision of Gary Myers, superintendent of TPC Summerlin at that time. This is where the SOFT BUCKET was born.

In 1988 and through 1989 Bond and Georgette worked on the design and development of THE SOFT BUCKET. In February 1989 at the Golf Course Superintendents Trade Show held in New Orleans they unveiled the SOFT BUCKET to all there fellow superintendents. This was a very exciting time for Bond and Georgette. They could see from all the superintendents that visited their booth that they had a huge interest in the SOFT BUCKET, which resulted in a large amount of orders to send out to superintendents throughout the country when they returned home from the trade show. Now 20 years later, Bond and Georgette are shipping orders Nationally and Internationally. This February 2009 will be their official 20^th anniversary and 20th consecutive trade show and it just so happens to be in New Orleans again.
